The Microsoft Partner Agreement (MPA) offers a partnership agreement to the subscribers of the Microsoft Cloud Solution Provider (CSP) program. It includes a set of rules and regulations that need to be accepted by organizations in order to avail the benefits provided by Microsoft, such as privacy of data, protection, and development of new business strategies. It can be signed online at Partner Center.

Verify the Microsoft Partner Network (MPN) ID

The first step to comply with the Microsoft Partner Agreement (MPA) requires verification of MPN ID. If you have joined the Microsoft Partner Network (MPN) program, you need to check if your MPN ID is working or not. Next, you need to switch your account to Partner Center. Once the account has been transferred to the Partner Center, you can log in to Partner Center using your MPN account ID and password. Next, you need to manage the settings of your MPN account by visiting the Partner Profile. By selecting Program Info, you can see if your MPN account is active or not. If the status says, “Active”, it indicates that your MPN partnership is active in Partner Center. In case the program status says, “Pending”, or “Declined”, or Rejected”, it indicates that your account hasn’t been verified yet. In this case, contact Microsoft Partners’ helpline to resolve your account’s status.

How to Check the Status of the Agreement?

Once you have completed your verification of the MPN account, you need to check if your MPA has been signed or not. First, you need to visit the CSP Overview tab where you will see a green banner that ensures that you have accepted and signed the terms and conditions included in the MPA. Another way to determine whether or not you have complied with the MPA is to visit Account Settings where you will find a tab called “Agreements”.

How to Sign the Microsoft Partner Agreement (MPA)?

1. In case you haven’t signed the Microsoft Partner Agreement (MPA), you can use the following steps to sign the agreement.

2. If you are the global admin of your account, you should log in to the Partner Center using the credentials of the CSP Indirect Reseller account.

3. By visiting the CSP Overview section, it will display “Accept & Continue” which ensures that you have signed the MPA. Another way to determine if you have signed the MPA is to see if the green banner says that the MPA has been signed.

The process of signing the Microsoft Partner Agreement (MPA) can be confusing for some people. Using the steps mentioned above, you can proceed further with the agreement very seamlessly.
